Our Pastor, Dr. Ron Dobbs, has studied, preached, and taught the Bible for over 40 years. We are committed to the Lord to stand true to the Bible in all our work, both at home and abroad.

Evangelism is the heart of a true, biblical church. In addition to directing the music program and the Sunday School, Rev. Grover Kahl and his wife, Sue, travel throughout the United States, ministering in evangelistic churches and soul winning rallies

The Kahls have over 40 years of experience in the gospel musical minstry. Mrs. Sue Kahl is an accomplished pianist who has performed with her husband and other Christian groups for over 20 years. Together they oversaw the ministry of The King's Messengers, a gospel quartet and instrumental ensemble who were used by the Lord for many years.

The musical ministry of the Kahls and the Dobbs family enhances the sweet melodies performed regularly by the TBC musicians such as Mrs. Darlene Hipsley on the organ and the piano.Mrs. Darlene Hipsley has played both the piano and the organ for over 40 years.

We here at Temple Baptist Church Downriver are proud to be a Missions supporting church.

In addition to the preaching of the gospel each week here atTBC,we have started a missions program to support missionaries around the world.

Pastor Dobbs has been doing a phenomenal job here at TBC heading up all of our Outreach Ministries.

We here at TBC believe in the preaching and teaching of the gospel as Jesus instructed all of his followers to do.

The International Tract Ministry was founded over 40 years ago by Dr. Lemuel Grimes to distribute Gospel Tracts locally and around the world. After retiring from a 33 year Pastorate, Dr. Grimes combined his great tract ministry with the work of theTBC.

Within the church,this work is continued by local church memebers. This offers an unusual opportunity for you and your family to participate in this world-wide Gospel Tract ministry along with us.
